Seth Godin – Failing Until You Succeed

Posted: May 27, 2015 by Jaime Stenning

In this 20 minute video author Seth Godin shares his views on taking risks, challenging the status quo and starting a business with Bryan Elliott for ‘Behind the Brand.’

‘If I fail more than you do, I win’

“Because built into that lesson is the notion that you get to keep playing, if you get to keep playing it means you get to keep failing and sooner than later you will make it succeed.

The people that lose are those that don’t fail at all or they fail so big they don’t get to play again.

Let’s understand some definitions:

Freelancer – gets paid for working – the more you work, the more you get paid

Entrepreneurs – gets paid whilst they sleep, they build a business bigger than themselves and they get paid even when they are not there.

When freelancers act like entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs cat like freelancers chaos ensues.

Take appropriate risks, by this I mean, those risks that even if you fail, keep you in the game.”
